The Sub Rule
Being a full time dad I often feel like I have been selected in the team as the sub . Here’s what I mean, I go off to work, usually sit on an uncomfortable seat all day, occasionally I get up and have a bit of stretch then sit back down again. Plastic goods brand name party
What a weird week I have had, if going to Justine Clarke’s concert with Kid C wasn’t enough, I somehow found myself at a plastic goods brand name party. It wasn’t my doing I was just performing my fatherly duties.
Wife A was hosting a plastic goods brand name party on Saturday morning. Here is my first tip for any dad’s out there, get the hell out of there well before the guests arrive. I didn’t and to be honest I am lucky to be here telling the tale on Tacklenappy.com.

Birthday Parties
One of the many challenges we face as parents is our kids' birthdays. We want to do what we can to make the birthday memorable and special - but how can we do this every year for each child? We have to contend with sibling jealousy, decide how grand the birthday celebrations need to be, make tough decisions on who not to invite to a gathering, decide whether you cater to what the kids want to eat or what the parents want the kids to eat (though I know a lot of parents who do like fairy bread!). The list goes on...
A Little Day Out indeed
A Little Day Out indeed
Today I had the day off work to take Kid C to her first ever concert of Justine Clarke “Little Day Out” tour (think that nasally sounding women from playschool).
