Team Tacklenappy - The Parenting Olympics Special
With the Olympics only hours away Team Tacklenappy decided it was time to celebrate this great occasion. Hopefully the IOC don’t see our use of the term Olympics (maybe for our special we will call it the 5 ring circus).
2 weeks down only 17 years and 50 weeks to go!
Wow what a difference a couple of weeks makes. I have gone from a relaxed brown haired latte sipper to a grey haired tired grumpy dad that doesn’t have time for coffee (even instant) anymore.
Baby coming ready or not
The alarm went off at 5am and we both groaned as we had been trying to delude ourselves that we would be able to go back to sleep after waking at about an hour earlier. It was cold, raining and it was baby day.
10 minutes in the sin bin young lady
It was a cold but sunny Sunday afternoon and there was an eventful melee at my favourite sporting event, no not the footy, the kids playground at Greensborough. Today a tall 3 year girl took on a timid 2 year old boy. It was a couple of jumper punches then a bit of verbal then more verbal followed by a push and shove. The only saving grace was this girl’s sister had jumped in-between the two of them and was restraining her reminiscent of a captain of a footy club protecting his star player.
