Joining The Three Kid Club
It won't be long before Q and I welcome Kid C to the clan. D-day is quickly approaching with Q due in 6-7 weeks and I can't say that we're even close to being prepared. We haven't set up the nursery (where the heck is the bassinet?), we haven't decided on names - not even a shortlist, we don't have any bags packed, we're not even sure whether we can fit three kids in our car. We've really taken this pregnancy very casually though I do have concerns, I'll admit that.
A stressful 24 hours
When you're a parent or a parent to be you have some great days and some shit ones. The last 24 hours were, in a word, horrendous. Right now I feel like I need to crack open a beer and watch some footy.
Anzac Day Tradition
Tomorrow was always a special day for me and my dad.
The Reception….
As I put Kid X down to bed at 12.30am I saw the tired, grumpy facial expression that said to me, just wait til I decide to wake up early tomorrow, I’ll get my revenge.
Hurray a Santa Hat (part 1)
We took Kid X to a wedding on Saturday night, our first formal event since well the disaster that was the engagement party. We didn’t get home until 12.30am and Kid X was exhausted, we were going to pay for this the next day.
